Our Story

The AGAPE Center started in 2013 when the promoter Adama Traore Wega got deeply touched by the living conditions of street and underprivilleged children, ranging from 5 to 18 years old. These children were obliged to work on the street, sell peanuts and sweets or simply beg to pay for their school fees, school needs, help out their familes, or even more to simply eat and treat themselves. This would have subsequently led them to school drop outs, substance abuse, delinquency and even sexual abuse. Adama was initially helping them on the streets, then later on with the help of kind hearted people, we managed to create a safe place to be for these children : THE AGAPE CENTER
